jack is back

Its been a little while but I have returned from an extended stay just 3o minutes away at Grandma and Poppy D's. Grandma actually took care of me for a couple hours every day while Mommy had to help Cousin Jimmy. I was really scared at first to be without Mommy and Daddy. But Grandma D did a really good job. I think we bonded! This is my new hat from my other Grandma - Grandma P! I am one lucky guy.

Father's Day Wishes

Dear Daddy, I'd really like to let you know today - how much I enjoy the time we spend together - when you give me a bath at the end of the day, change my diaper in the wee hours of the morning, and all our walks up to the park with Abbey. I especially like weekend mornings when we sneak out of bed - trying not to wake Mommy and head downstairs to fix the coffee.

I have big plans for us, Daddy - hanging out in the treehouse we will build, taking long bike rides on Sunday afternoons, weekend camping trips, skim boarding at the beach, snowboarding in the winter, learning to use power tools, taking fishing trips with you and my Grandpas, and of course... sharing a cheese steak at the counter at D'Allesandro's.

Alot of people say I look like you - I hope that means I am going to grow up to be like you too...

wheels on the bikes go round and round

I watched my first professional bike race on Sunday. We walked down to the river. There were lots of people, food and music. When the bikes came by people rang cowbells and clapped. I even saw some other babies from the neighborhood. None had on cool leg warmers like me though.

naps are for babies

I just spent 4 days at the beach with my cousin Cassie. Cassie is so cool - she gets to stay up til 10 o'clock some nights and even gets to drive around in the car or pushed around in the stroller late at night. In this picture - we are pretending to nap. Shhh! Don't tell Aunt Gina.

I recently went on my first wagon ride. My cousin Cassie joined me. This wagon was a gift from my Aunt Jacqui and Uncle Jimmy. They have a new granddaughter Cate who I am hoping to meet really soon. I hope she can come for a ride in my wagon sometime too!
