the fall guy

Today I took my I took my first ride in an ambulance! I even saw a fireman and fire-truck close up. I got to hang out at this neat place called CHOP with Mommy AND Daddy, take a nap on Daddy's lap.... and eat my favorite crumbly cookies in the car on the ride home. Oh and I forgot to mention, I also took my first fall down these stairs. Mommy keeps talking about something called "gratitude" - I just want to know when's the fire-truck coming back!

gone fishin'

Hi Jack- It's your dada... I've hijacked the blog to say thank you for a wonderful day of fishing. Even though it was a little cold and the fish weren't really biting, you made the whole expedition worthwhile. Next year we will swap the "spear" for your very own rod and reel.
I can't wait for our next adventure - big or small - it will be great.
Love,
dada
